Results of this study are as follows; The significant differences in the relations between demographics characteristics and recurrence were found for religion, experiences of health education, regular visiting at clinics and duration of medication. The mean score on the HLPL II of this sample was 2.44. In subscales, interpersonal relations was the highest with 2.68, followed by nutrition with 2.68, spiritual with 2.50, health responsibility with 2.43, stress with 2.35 and physical activity with 2.13. The significant differences on the HLPL II were found for age, marriage status, job, education level, economic status, status and amount of alcohol drinking and medical institution.

These finding suggest that we need further research about factors influencing on recurrence and health promoting behaviors of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in other sample.
